Electrical/Electronics Engineering
This pathway prepares scholars to apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of electrical/electronic systems and their components. Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment, such as electric motors, electrical controls, instrumentation, HMI Interfaces, PLCs, industrial controls, power generation equipment, radar and navigation systems, communication systems, and power generation equipment. Electronic engineers design and develop electronic equipment, including broadcast and communications systems, such as portable music players and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) devices.
