This pathway prepares scholars to develop and evaluate aircraft, space vehicles, and their systems; apply research on flight characteristics; and develop systems and procedures for the launching, guidance, and control of air and space vehicles. Aerospace engineers design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missiles. In addition, they test prototypes to make sure they function according to design.
